CDDFRS Day Crew Plus

As part of our ongoing appointment with County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service, this year has seen the completion of both Day Crew buildings at Seaham and Newton Aycliffe. Both buildings have been well received by the client and are now fully operational.

CDDFRS Crook Fire Station

As part of our ongoing appointment with County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service, we undertook a design appointment for the new Crook Fire Station.

CDDFRS Bowburn Workshops

The new workshop on the outskirts of Durham will enable efficient ongoing maintenance of the fire services fleet of vehicles. The state of the art facilities include a paint spray booth, engine exhaust systems, compressed air systems and oil systems.

CDDFRS Sniperley Fire Station

As part of our ongoing appointment with County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service, we undertook the design of Sniperley Fire Station, located on the edge of Durham City. The fire station occupies a prominent position on the approach to the city and we think it looks fantastic.

CDDFRS Bowburn Fire Training Centre

As part of our ongoing appointment with County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service, this year has seen the completion of Bowburn Fire Training Centre, located on the edge of Durham City.  This state of the art facility includes a “live burn” training complex, virtual reality simulator suites, training at height rig and appliance bays.

CDDFRS Stanhope Fire Station

Working with our longest standing client is always a pleasure!  The latest station to be updated is located in Stanhope, County Durham.  The project includes thermal upgrades to the building fabric and a small extension to the rear to house the new gym and office areas.  The building services are being replaced throughout and include new boiler plant, ventilation systems, electrical re-wire, data installation and vehicle turn out system.

CDDFRS Barnard Castle Quad Services Station

The revolutionary building brings together fire, police, ambulance and mountain rescue services under one (well three actually) roof.  The building benefits from a high pressure mist sprinkler system and a large PV array on the roof.
